Practicalinks will assess and approve organisations and supervisors for Higher Education Internships/ Practice placements, based on pre-decided guidelines and quality assurance criteria. A further tailor made service matching students to particular placements with support provided through out the placement to the student, university and supervisor is also offered to provide a complete and guaranteed package.

Practicalinks provides a service to HE Providers that require a vetting procedure for professional/ educational placements. Practicalinks can match your volunteer with a suitable supervisor. You will be able to have contact with this supervisor prior to the placement beginning. Practicalinks can act as the contact between HE Providers and organisations/ individual supervisors prior to, during and after the placement to assure quality and minimise risk. Practicalinks can offer a briefing package for each placement, covering travel arrangements, health, safety and immigration requirements, financial and insurance advice, living arrangements, language & culture.
